the zoo in bali was so fun!

it was a safari park. the set up was nothing like any zoo i've ever been to. with our tickets, we were allowed to have 1 picture/ride/interaction with an animal. not all of the animals were available, but i chose the LION!! of course. so... the young lion was quite tired... and most likely on tranquilizers of some sort. i mean, how could a lion just sit there and let you pet it and hug it?? i did learn that lions are only awake for 4 hours, during the night time..

the other best part of the zoo was when we got to feed 2 baby elephants little bananas!!!
i was holding a bunch behind my back, so i could feed them one banana at a time... and one of the babies reached his trunk around me and pulled me so i would give him the bunch!!! it was such a weird feeling. their trunks are really strong and have itchy hairs.
